PacNWC Acts29 Scholarship

Financial help to get you on your way to a spiritual adventure of a lifetime!

Acts29 is an international intentional school of discipleship for college-age young adults. Acts29 aspires to be a multicultural mission movement of young people, whose lives have been discipled and transformed for missional leadership in the Church and in the world. Twice a year students from around the world gather in various countries for three months of training, community, and service. Visit the Acts29 Facebook Page and the Acts29 Instagram Page for more information.

Those from the PacNWC who have attended or visited past Acts29 schools attest that they are a great experience. [Click Here] to read about Erik Cave’s experience at the Acts29 school in Alaska. We hope to see many more PacNWC students attend which is why we are offering this scholarship opportunity.

Acts29 Core Characteristics:

  • We are a Discipleship School: We participate in the process of shaping lives in community as we follow Jesus. We do not merely impart knowledge. Young adults from different cultures learn to deal with others, including resolving conflict, while living in community.
  • We are a Leadership School: We entrust young people with delegated leadership. We mentor and empower them to  become servant leaders. Young adults study the books of Mark and Acts. They are mentored by experienced multi-national young adults and taught by church leaders from around the world. Included are times of devotionals, prayer, fasting, reflection, interaction, etc.
  • We are a Mission School: We encourage young people to participate in God’s mission of reconciling all things to himself. Participants are required to practice living out their faith in local churches and with local community organizations on weekend and designated “practice weeks.”

PacNWC Scholarship:

The PacNWC scholarship is for $1000 toward the cost of each school. We hope that your local church will help you raise the additional school cost.  This scholarship is available for a maximum of three students who are willing to share their experiences with others upon their return.
