Go Further Together

Do you feel isolated, tired or out of ideas?  

Get involved in a cohort of youth workers who are learning how to grow themselves and their ministries together.  This is for those who want to commit to consistently meeting with the same group of like minded others for increased connection, accountability and professional development.

Meetings will take place through Zoom each month alternating between sessions focusing on connection, teaching and book studies. Every meeting will include encouragement and prayer.

Featuring:

  • Teaching from respected veteran youth workers and pastors. Topics will include Youth Ministry Priorities and Growing as a Leader.
  • Book Studies of major works focusing on leadership development, youth ministry and culture. This year’s books include Youth Ministry in a Season of Disruption by Mark Oestreicher and The Making of a Leader by J. Robert Clinton. Participants will have 3 months to read each book.
  • Connection with other youth workers from a variety of backgrounds and experience. Sessions focusing on connection will include times of directed input.

Who is this for?

  • Rookies who are new to ministry
  • Those with a few years of experience who are ready to go to the next level
  • Veterans who would benefit from new training and deeper connection
  • Cohorts are open to all Youth & Children’s Workers, Full Time, Part Time, Bi-Vocational, and Volunteers

Cost and Commitments:

  • There is no charge for participating in the cohort
  • Participants are responsible for purchasing 3 books
  • Commit to participate in all 9 monthly meetings
  • Book reading assignments
  • Assessment Assignments

Schedule:

We will adjust this schedule at the first meeting to reach times and dates that work for all participants. Starting dates are below. Each session will be maximum 2 hours long.
