This one day retreat is for all PacNWC lead youth workers.  Our hope is that you will come away from this event known, connected and resourced.

Theme: Recruiting, Developing and Supporting Volunteers

Whether you are the volunteer lead youth worker at your church or you serve on a large staff, we call all grow when it comes to working with volunteers. Problems in this area are plenty:

We don’t have enough volunteers
We have the wrong volunteers
The volunteers we have are poorly skilled
Conflict on our volunteer team

This seminar will give you the tools you need to excel at this important part of ministry.  From building relationships to casting vision you will leave prepared to recruit, equip and support your volunteers.

Special Guests:  Mark and Anna Carlson

Mark and Anna have more than 30 years experience between the two of them recruiting, equipping and supporting volunteers.  Mark is the is the current Associate Director of Cascades Camp and Conference Center.  Before this he served as the Co-Pastor of McMinville Covenant Church where he oversaw the development of many interns and and directors.  Anna also oversaw hundreds of volunteers in her time as the Family Ministry Pastor at the same church.  Mark and Anna have two children and live in Yelm, WA.
