Wanting to learn more about what hospitality means in our communities and the world? Want to be ‘Courageously Curious’? Join us for RADICAL KINGDOM HOSPITALITY, a retreat at Cascades Camp offering rest, rejuvenation, worship, learning, and connection. Gather with your PACNW Covenant sisters to hear Grace Shim, Executive Minister of Serve Globally, share how we can be His witnesses in our neighborhood and ‘to the ends of the earth. Attend workshops, share amazing meals, and enjoy the beauty of Cascades Camp. And we’re bringing back our annual favorites: outdoor activities, the craft center, marketplace with basket raffles, Abundant Life Center Thailand purse sales, a silent auction to support PACNW women’s ministry, and plenty of time to just BE!
Surrounded by wooded hills and trails, Cascades Camp offers plenty of outdoor activities: hiking, waterfront, and pickle ball. We’ll enjoy lots of space for conversations, both formal and informal. Sit for a while and work on provided handcrafts. Or allow yourself tons of time to rest and refresh
SPEAKER
Grace Shim is the Executive Minister of Serve Globally for the Evangelical Covenant Church and has served in the Covenant since 2003. Her home church is Christ Covenant Church in Villa Park, Illinois. She holds a bachelor of arts in math education from Virginia Polytechnic and State University and a master of arts in counseling psychology from Trinity International University. She is a licensed clinical professional counselor.
