Emerge Summer Experience

Do you want more out of faith and life?

Join us for a one week discipleship journey for young adults who seek

deep discipleship, leadership training, community impact and Godly character

in an urban, residential and multi-ethnic setting.

What You Will Experience:

We believe in sharing life together in a diverse community. We will build community through living together, classroom learning, serving together, sharing responsibilities for chores (cooking, cleaning, etc.), trips, and of course, having fun together.

It is helpful to learn from multiple people who bring a variety of perspectives. For this reason, we will draw from the wealth of leaders in our area by inviting pastors, professors, spiritual directors, and other professionals to teach.

Putting our faith into action is a key component of discipleship. Through our partnership with Emerald City Bible Fellowship and through other connections in the city, we will be serving and building relationships in the community we will be living.

Missional living is a key element of being a disciple who makes disciples. We will explore the full mission of the church through personal disciple making, community involvement, world relief and global missions.

Getting out of your comfort zone is a key catalyst to growth.  We will visit and learn about the various cultures in the Seattle area throughout the week.

You will be guided on this journey by our facilitators, Erik Cave and Lauren Pattie, who are experienced in working with young adults. They will be there to help you grow while managing the experience details, conflict resolution and other issues that arise.
