Shawn has served as a Coach, Consultant and Speaker with organizations such as NewThing and the Willow Creek Association. Shaun most recently served as Senior Pastor of Community Covenant Church in Calumet Park, Illinois. He is also the Founder of Manifest.  Shaun and his wife Veronica have one child.

 

Rev. Alex Rahill

ECC Interim Executive Minister of Start and Strengthen Churches

Alex has been working in church planting ministry for over 15 years. He planted Life Covenant Church in the Detroit area. Under his leadership, Life Church planted two other healthy missional churches. Alex also served as the part-time Director of Church Planting for the Great Lakes Conference. Alex and his wife Marcie have four children.

Friday Afternoon Workshops:

7 Systems of a Healthy Church with Rev. Alex Rahill

This workshop focuses on providing an understanding of the systems that make up a healthy missional church that promotes a discipleship process.  Seven areas will be explored: engaging community, planning worship services, connecting people, small groups, training and equipping people for ministry, developing a generous culture of giving, and developing leaders.

Building Healthy Church Culture with Rev. Shaun Marshall

Culture happens whether you intend it or not.”  This workshop will help church leaders understand not only the community culture that a congregation is in, but the culture of a local congregation.  This workshop will explore the question, “What kind of environment needs to be present for God to do the new thing God is calling you to do in your community?”
